Faculty of Business Organizes a Scientific Workshop on Designing Accounting Systems within Companies

The Faculty of Business at Al al-Bayt University, represented by the Accounting Department, organized a scientific workshop entitled: "How Accounting Systems are Designed within Companies," as part of the Faculty's commitment to enhancing the practical aspect and linking academic knowledge with practical reality.

The workshop hosted the regional Indian expert Sachin Perwar, a prominent financial expert in a leading company specializing in the development of accounting systems. The event was held in the Al-Bakhit Amphitheater and aimed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to build an integrated accounting system that ensures transparency, accuracy, and reliability, and contributes to supporting strategic decision-making efficiently, while adhering to local and international accounting standards.

During the workshop, Perwar presented an interactive presentation in the presence of faculty members and students of the college, in which he discussed the skills that students should acquire during their studies, and the reflection of this on the level of training that the trainee receives during and after the study, in order to enable him to obtain an opportunity to work within accounting teams in international companies.

He pointed out that learning, desire, and training are essential factors for success, and that combining the practical and applied aspect with knowledge and interaction creates accumulated experiences that are an important asset for the future of students. He also indicated that a number of students participating in the practical training will have future opportunities to work in his global company in Dubai.

The workshop included practical applications presented by the lecturer, which dealt with major themes, most notably: the product preparation stage, product marketing, market analysis and planning before its launch, identifying market requirements, understanding the accounting principles related to it, and determining the appropriate environment for marketing it.

The Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr. Ghaith Al-Aitan, praised the experiences of the Indian guest in the field of accounting business and his ability to simplify the mechanisms of building accounting systems, stressing the Faculty's keenness to inform students of international experiences and link them to the labor market.

The Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hadab - who introduced the lecturer and moderated the interactive discussion - also affirmed that hosting an expert from outside Jordan is an important scientific opportunity for the college's students to learn about global practical experiences, pointing to the university presidency's continuous support for scientific activities, and to the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Crown Prince towards enhancing applied education, and considering governance and transparency as fundamental pillars that require accounting systems to be of high quality.

Dr. Hussam Ananzeh presented a preliminary speech for the workshop, while Dr. Sajed Al-Shdeifat took over the coordination and organization processes, and their efforts had a clear impact on the success of the interactive event.

At the conclusion of the workshop, which witnessed a wide attendance from faculty members and students of the college, Dr. Ghaith Al-Aitan and Dr. Muhammad Al-Hadab presented the guest with the university's honorary shield.
