Al al-Bayt University participated in the activities of the Seventh Jordanian Environmental Conference, which was held by the Jordanian Geologists Syndicate in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment during the period 7-8 December 2025, under the title:

"Environmental Reflections of Economic and Social Development and Remediation Projects - Environmental Budgets."

The university was represented at the conference by Professor Hani Al-Amoosh from the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, who participated in the preparatory committee and the scientific committee of the conference, in addition to chairing one of the scientific sessions.

The first day of the conference included a discussion of a set of scientific papers specialized in the topics of: air pollution and quality, water resources management, soil pollution and land degradation, and climate changes.

The conference will continue its work tomorrow through scientific sessions focusing on the themes of: natural reserves and biodiversity, environmental legislation and policies, and water and its management.​
