Dr. Tariq Arar from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Dr. Moamen Al-Ayasra from the Faculty of Engineering represented Al al-Bayt University at the capacity-building conference organized by the British Council entitled: "Active Educational Methods for Critical Thinking in a Changing World," which was held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the InterContinental Hotel Amman.

The conference highlighted the importance of moving from traditional indoctrination methods to more interactive educational methodologies that respond to the needs of the digital age and the development of artificial intelligence tools. It also focused on empowering students with information evaluation and "refinement" skills, and enhancing the role of faculty members in employing practical strategies that make the student the focus of the educational process and an active participant in it.

The conference was attended by a selection of faculty members from various Jordanian universities, along with a number of experts and specialists in the fields of education.​
