Al al-Bayt University participated in the activities of the international conference hosted by the University of Jordan in cooperation with the Erasmus+ program, under the title:

“Green Energy in MENA Region: Solar Energy, Green Hydrogen and AgroTec”.

The university was represented at this conference by a delegation that included:

• Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Professor Dr. Majed Ibrahim

• Head of the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, Dr. Milad Alimat

• Dr. Habes Al-Khawaldeh from the College of Engineering

• Engineer Miral Al-Shuraida from the College of Engineering

The participation came within the framework of the university’s keenness to enhance its academic presence and interaction with international scientific initiatives in the fields of renewable energy. The conference provided an important platform to meet experts and specialists from Europe and the Arab world, and to exchange experiences on the latest trends in solar energy, green hydrogen and modern agricultural technologies (AgroTec).

The conference also witnessed many fruitful meetings that dealt with opportunities for future research cooperation, and the possibilities of developing academic partnerships that may provide scholarship programs for graduate students in renewable energy specializations to partner European universities.
