Robotics Fundamentals Training Course Based on Artificial Intelligence
The Deanship of Student Affairs/Department of Cultural and Social Activity, in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation, organized a training course entitled: "Fundamentals of Robotics Based on Artificial Intelligence", over two days at the Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah Faculty of Information Technology, with the aim of enhancing students' knowledge of modern robotics sciences and providing them with the practical skills necessary to design and program robots using modern technologies.
The course, presented by Engineer Rashid Smirat from the Crown Prince Foundation, witnessed a qualitative participation of college students from various disciplines within an interactive educational environment that combined the theoretical and applied aspects. The importance of these training programs lies in the fact that they are a real platform for honing practical skills and enhancing students' capabilities in the fields of modern technology and artificial intelligence, which contributes to raising their scientific and professional competitiveness at the local and international levels.
For his part, Professor Dr. Muhammad Jaradat, Dean of the College of Information Technology, affirmed the university's commitment to supporting activities that contribute to integrating students into modern technologies, stressing that organizing such events contributes to building an advanced educational environment that prepares students for the labor market and enables them to interact directly with the latest global innovations in the fields of robotics and programming, adding that the university seeks continuously to establish partnerships with advanced educational and technological institutions with the aim of opening wider horizons for students in the fields of training, research and participation in local and international competitions, pointing out that these efforts come within a strategic plan aimed at graduating competencies capable of excellence and creativity in a constantly changing digital environment.
Dr. Hayel Al-Sarhan, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, stressed the role of the Deanship in caring for and developing the comprehensive and balanced personality of the university student, by providing various extracurricular activities, programs and services that aim to build a conscious and creative generation capable of contributing to serving the community.
Mr. Muhammad Basbous, Director of the Department of Cultural and Social Activity, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Turk, Assistant Dean of the Al-Hussein bin Abdullah College of Information Technology at the University, coordinated and prepared for this course.
