Implementation of a training session on artificial intelligence and the future of jobs at the Faculty of Information Technology
On Monday, 7/21/2024, Al al-Bayt University hosted a specialized training session entitled "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Jobs" at the Faculty of Information Technology, in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation's office in Al-Mafraq Governorate, with the participation of a group of college students from various disciplines.
The session was opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Muhammad Jaradat, in which he affirmed the importance of students keeping pace with rapid technological developments, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, which has become a fundamental pillar in various work sectors.
Mr. Muhammad Basbous, Director of the Cultural and Social Activity Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs, also welcomed the students and guests, and explained to the students the importance of participating in extracurricular activities and training provided by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university.
Professor Mustafa Al-Khawaldeh, coordinator of the Crown Prince Foundation office in Al-Mafraq Governorate, presented an introduction in which he introduced students to the Foundation's role in enhancing digital skills and connecting young people with future opportunities through quality workshops.
The session witnessed great interaction from the students, and it was presented by Mr. Qusai Al-Bahri.
It dealt with modern concepts in artificial intelligence, its applications, and its impact on the global labor market, which contributes to raising students' readiness to engage in the future work environment efficiently and consciously.
This session is part of a series of purposeful initiatives implemented by the university in partnership with leading national institutions, as part of its continuous endeavor to empower students and provide them with 21st century skills.
