Within the framework of academic cooperation between Al al-Bayt University and West Visayas State University in the Philippines:

The Head of the Department of Applied Geography at Al al-Bayt University, Dr. Ayed Taran, delivered an online scientific lecture entitled "Geography of the Arab World" to postgraduate students at West Visayas State University in the Philippines.

This lecture was part of the activities of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two universities, in coordination between the Deanship of the Faculty of Arts at Al al-Bayt University and the Head of the Department of Research, Innovation and Development at the Philippine University, Dr. Elias Olapane.

This event aims to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the two academic institutions, as the lecture received a positive response from the attendees, who expressed their admiration for its rich content and their aspiration for more scientific meetings that contribute to deepening their knowledge of the geography of the Arab world.
