The President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Osama Nusair, met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants, Mr. Hussam Al-Rahal, and a member of the Board of Directors responsible for communication and corporate affairs, the Executive Partner of KPMG Jordan, and the former President of the Association and the Arab Federation of Accountants and Auditors, Mr. Hatem Qawasmeh, to discuss ways of joint academic cooperation between the two parties.

Dr. Nusair affirmed that Al al-Bayt University seeks to provide its students with knowledge and keep pace with everything new in the fields of science, in a way that qualifies them to enter the labor market, in coordination with all relevant official and private institutions.

The President of the Association, Mr. Hussam Al-Rahal, gave a lecture to the students of the Accounting Department at the College of Business, in which he stressed the importance of financial auditing for institutions and companies, pointing out that audited data gives high confidence and credibility to its users, as important financial and administrative decisions are based on it. He also explained the importance of the visits organized by the Association to universities, and its role in helping students plan for their professional future and prepare to pass the Association's exam for Jordanian Certified Public Accountants.

For his part, Mr. Hatem Al-Qawasmeh reviewed the practical steps that enable the student to achieve professional success, stressing the importance of acquiring the skills and practical certificates necessary to enter the labor market with distinction and innovation. He also stressed the participatory relationship between the Association and the University in supplying the local and international labor market with qualified accounting competencies.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Business, Professor Marai Bani Khaled, affirmed that financial auditing has an effective role in protecting public funds, ensuring the efficiency of institutional performance, and building reliable financial outputs that support the decisions of investors and decision-makers.

At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College, Professor Marai Bani Khaled, presented an honorary shield to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants, Mr. Hussam Al-Rahal, in the presence of members of the teaching staff at the College of Business.
