Participants in the "Education Technologies and Future Technology" Conference Continue to Present Their Scientific Papers in Al-Hassan bin Talal Auditorium
Participants in the Second International Conference on "Education Technologies and Future Technology," organized by the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University, continued their work for the second day in a row, amidst a wide academic and research presence, in Al-Hassan bin Talal Auditorium on campus.
Professor Youssef Miqdadi, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and President of the Conference, stressed the importance of the conference's theme, describing it as an academic vision and a unique scientific experience that sheds light on global developments in education technologies and future technology.
The first session of the second day of the conference began under the chairmanship of Professor Saleh Al-Shara’at, and the research presented during it focused on anticipating the educational future and keeping pace with the scientific aspirations that were presented to simulate the desired vision and aspirations. Dr. Muhammad Zboon and researcher Faten Abu Saleh from the University of Jordan presented a research paper entitled:
"A Prospective Vision of the Requirements for Building a Culture of Cybersecurity Among Jordanian University Students Based on the Delphi Methodology,"
Researcher Nisreen Ayesh Al-Subaihat also reviewed a study entitled:
“The Degree of Awareness of Science Teachers in the Eighth Grade of Artificial Intelligence Concepts and Its Applications in Education - Mafraq Governorate as a Model,”
In a joint research paper, Dr. Ahmed Al-Duwairi and researcher Farah Abu Saileek discussed the estimates of mathematics teachers in the Qasbah of Zarqa about the reasons for and results of the decline in the performance of Jordanian students in international mathematics tests.
Dr. Ali Abu Saileek and researcher Jaber Eid Jaber indicated and presented a meta-analysis of the use of the "QuillBot" application in learning English.
In the second session, chaired by Professor Ziad Al-Tah, which dealt with modern digital technologies and focused on artificial intelligence technologies, the researchers in the first paper, presented by Dr. Mamoun Zboon, Dina Al-Zoubi, Malek Al-Zboon, and Yasar Al-Momeni, explained how to employ digital skills for artificial intelligence applications in the educational-learning process from the point of view of the teachers themselves.
Dr. Ali Abu Saileek and researcher Nour Al-Husban indicated and presented a meta-analysis of the use of the "QuillBot" application in learning English.
In another paper, researchers Warda Al-Jassar and Faten Al-Mashaqa discussed how vocational education teachers use modern technology techniques in teaching, from the point of view of the two researchers themselves.
The second session concluded with a scientific paper by Kuwaiti researcher Dr. Fahd Al-Mulaabi on the trends of special education teachers towards employing modern technologies in school work in the State of Kuwait.
Professor Anmar Abu Obaid chaired the third session, which spoke about integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the education process and the reality of their use. Researcher Saad Mahmoud Al-Saleh, in his joint paper with Dr. Mamdouh Al-Surour, explained the trends of geography teachers in the North-Eastern Badia Education towards integrating artificial intelligence technologies into inclusive education for upper elementary school students.
In the second paper, Dana Ibrahim Bani Khalaf spoke in a joint paper with Professor Tayseer Al-Khawaldeh about the role of school principals in the Directorate of Education for the Koura Brigade in activating the areas of school life.
The third session concluded with a scientific paper presented by researcher Amal Al-Ababneh, which dealt with the reality of using modern technologies and the obstacles they face in education, from the point of view of computer teachers in the Qasbah of Mafraq.
In the fourth session, chaired by Professor Ali Abu Saileek, within the axis of electronic technologies and the digital reality, Abu Saileek indicated that artificial intelligence, like any scientific phenomenon, has advantages and disadvantages.
In the first paper, Dr. Walid Al-Hajj Ali spoke about the reality of using electronic applications in developing oral expression skills in Arabic.
Researcher Sukoon Ababneh showed the degree to which elementary school teachers possess artificial intelligence skills.
In the final session of the conference, which was chaired by Professor Tayseer Al-Khawaldeh, three themes related to education technologies and future technology were discussed.
Researchers Ruba Mustafa Al-Fawaz and Farid Al-Khazaleh spoke about the use of digital films in students' achievement, and in the second theme of the session, in her scientific paper, Dr. Ikhlas Al-Bari spoke about the use of assistive technology in teaching students with disabilities.
The session concluded with a third theme, in which researcher Roua Hussein Al-Azzam presented a scientific study on the uses of online video games on speaking skills.
