On the sixteenth of April of each year, we raise our heads high and carry in our hearts unparalleled pride, celebrating Jordanian Flag Day, a symbol of sovereignty, unity, and belonging.

It is the day of the land we cherish, and the homeland we would sacrifice for, a day when we see flags embracing the sky, fluttering with the colors of glory and ancient history.

Our Jordanian flag is not just a symbol, but an embodiment of a nation's journey and a people's story, summarized by its bright colors that tell the story of the civilizations that crossed the land of Jordan, the land of glory, heroism, and civilization.

In our hearts is a homeland, and in our sky is a flag that soars with pride and dignity.

On Jordanian Flag Day, we renew our covenant to God Almighty that the flag of Jordan will remain fluttering high, shading a generous people and a wise leadership, and will always remain a symbol of glory and giving.

O flag of Jordan, O symbol of pride

O story woven from the blood of the free

In you are the tales of the heroes of our ancestors

And of the mothers in the dark nights

How can we not raise you above our heads

When you are in our hearts and in our prayers

Every thread in you is a tear of a loving mother

And every flutter is a prayer in the stillness

O my flag, O flag

O pulse of the nation on the path of summits

We beseech God that you remain fluttering

And that our flag remains a leader in the heights

May you remain, O Jordan, the home of glory and security

And the haven of pride throughout the ages

May God protect Jordan, its people and its leadership

And may our flag remain high in leadership

May you remain, O flag of Jordan, a symbol of the homeland and a trust in our necks,

And may God protect Jordan, its land, its people, and its leadership.
