A specialized scientific course in the principles of Islamic jurisprudence, explaining the book "Tal'at al-Shams" by Sheikh Nur al-Din al-Salimi.
The Omani Research and Studies Center is holding a specialized scientific course in the principles of jurisprudence, to explain the book "Tala'at al-Shams" (Rising Sun) by Sheikh Nour Al-Din Al-Salmi, presented by Dr. Ahmed Yassin Al-Qarala from the Faculty of Sharia, Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles. The book "Tala'at al-Shams" is considered one of the solid encyclopedic references in the science of the principles of jurisprudence.
Dr. Al-Qarala began the course by introducing Oman as a civilization, people, and doctrine, and discussed the scientific value of the book and its place among the books of principles, and the methodology followed by the author in its classification. He also introduced the author, Sheikh Nour Al-Din Al-Salmi, the jurist, fundamentalist, investigator, poet, and historian, and one of the most prominent scholars of Oman in the nineteenth century AD.
The course witnessed the attendance of a number of postgraduate and master's students from various faculties of the university, and it is scheduled to continue until the end of the semester.
