The Civil Engineering Department at Al al-Bayt University participated in the wooden bridge building competition organized by the Jordanian Engineers Association - Aqaba branch. This year, the competition is part of the JEA's Open Day 2 events. Dr. Bilal Yaseen, the supervisor of the team representing the university, stated that the student team, consisting of students from the Civil Engineering Department, achieved third place among the eight Jordanian universities that participated in the competition in Aqaba. He noted that the distinguished students Basel Banna, Aws Al-Kailani, Hassan Abu Kweik, and Muthana Al-Yamani represented the university in this competition, which combined challenge and creativity, providing an opportunity to test their engineering skills and design innovative bridges with precision and accuracy, according to high engineering standards.
