The College of Arts and Humanities organized a student initiative titled "My Environment is More Beautiful" on Thursday, December 5, 2024, as part of the college's activities and student events for the academic year 2024/2025. The initiative aimed to promote the concepts of sustainable development among students, instill feelings of loyalty and belonging to the university environment, and raise awareness about the importance of preserving it. Students contributed to various maintenance, restoration, and beautification works in an atmosphere filled with the spirit of cooperation and selflessness for their college. Dr. Maysoun Al-Zghoul, the Assistant Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, supervised the initiative and emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping the student's personality, achieving many positive outcomes, and enhancing students' connection to their university environment. Al-Zghoul mentioned that this student initiative has borne fruit, which has been reflected positively on the college. She expressed her gratitude to the university president, His Excellency Dr. Osama Nusair, for his constant cooperation in activating student initiatives and ensuring their implementation, as well as to the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Professor Dr. Saeed Abu Khader. Al-Zghoul praised the students and extended her sincere thanks and appreciation for their contributions to this initiative.​
