The nursing faculty meets with its new students.

Last Wednesday, on 16/10/2024, Princess Salma bint Abdullah College of Nursing organized a meeting for new students with the college's family, aiming to introduce them to the Bachelor's degree nursing program and update them on the latest developments, rules, and regulations governing the nursing profession. This took place in the lecture hall of the College of Business at the university. 

The meeting, presented by the college's dean, Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Suleiman, aimed to prepare proficient nurses who would carry the university's name after graduation. He also highlighted the important instructions and regulations specific to the college and the study plans, emphasizing the necessity for the administrative and training staff to communicate with students and address the key academic challenges they face. He pointed out the significance of regulations related to the profession and the institutions overseeing it, as a major part of their future competencies and professional responsibilities.

He provided an explanation of the advisory plan for the College of Nursing and discussed academic advising for students, stressing the importance of students adhering to university rules and regulations. 

Engineer Safaa Abu Shendi from the Computer Center mentioned that the online portal offers students everything they need electronically through their accounts, highlighting the center's role in facilitating the use of the student portal. 

A video was also presented, showcasing comprehensive details about the university and the college, shedding light on various activities organized by the college in partnership with the local community and students. The video included impactful messages from several alumni who shared their personal experiences and successes achieved post-graduation, expressing their gratitude to the college and university for the role they played in honing their skills and preparing them for the job market.

The meeting, attended by the college's family, represented by the Head of the Adult Health Department, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tabiyat, the Head of the Community Health Department, Dr. Abdullah Al-Khawaldeh, the Assistant Dean for Quality Affairs, Dr. Tamader Shdaifat, the Assistant Dean for Practical Training, Mr. Yahya Al-Rashoud, and several faculty members, concluded with responses to all student inquiries and questions.
