A tournament between Al al-Bayt University and the local community in badminton.
As part of the activities plan for the Sports Activities Department, a competitive badminton championship kicked off in the sports hall between the university team and the local community. The matches were held in both singles and doubles formats, using a knockout system with a single-elimination round.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Saif Al-Shbail, addressed the university team to enhance the competitive spirit during the games and encouraged fellow students to engage in extracurricular activities. He also thanked the players from the Mafraq governorate for their sportsmanship and their eagerness to accept the university's invitation to participate in its activities.
At the end of the tournament, Al-Shabeel awarded the top three winners as follows:
**Singles Championship:**
1. First place - Abdul Rahman Al-Husseini
2. Second place - Mohammad Arif
3. Third place - Fares Ayman
3. Tied for third - Salem Al-Nuaimi
**Doubles Championship:**
1. First place - Abdul Rahman Al-Husseini + Salem Al-Nuaimi
2. Second place - Mohammad Rajwan + Munther Ben Azeroul
3. Third place - Fares Ayman + Mohammad Arif
3. Tied for third - Nasser Al-Shammari + Hamada Al-Nuaimi
The awards ceremony was attended by the Director of Sports Activities, Mr. Nasir Al-Khawaldeh, and department staff. The tournament was supervised by Tina Abu Aleem.
