Scientific lecture in the Department of Chemistry - College of Science on quality control in the pharmaceutical industry

The College of Science at the university, represented by the Chemistry Department, organized a scientific lecture for its students on "Quality Control in the Pharmaceutical Industry," presented by consultant Abdullah Othman Masoud, held in the Bukhit Auditorium at the university. 

The lecture included an introduction to the pharmaceutical industry and how to prepare Science students, especially those in Chemistry, to understand the importance of this sector. It also focused on the concepts of drug awareness, monitoring, and quality. The attendees learned about quality control as an interactive process ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical products, as well as the importance of designing processes in drug manufacturing according to high standards, aiming to achieve safe and effective products.

The lecturer emphasized the need for students to focus on scientific and pharmaceutical terminology and its role in maintaining public health, providing them with awareness and guidance. He also highlighted the quality and testing of pharmaceutical samples, the requirements for successful drug samples, their composition, and the specifications for production lines of medicines and medical supplies. 

At the end of the lecture, which was introduced by Dr. Mohannad Masa'd from the Chemistry Department, there was a dialogue and discussions among the students and the lecturer about the best ways to monitor medications.
