He noted that the university takes pride in leading national institutions like the Hussein Cancer Foundation, which has dedicated resources and expertise to combat cancer in Jordan and the region.

Ms. Fatima Al-Omari, liaison officer for the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program, explained that the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program is a comprehensive national initiative led and supported by the Hussein Cancer Foundation and the Ministry of Health, aimed at providing early detection services for breast cancer to all women in Jordan.

On the sidelines of the scientific day, University President Dr. Nusair met with Ms. Bana Al-Dabbas in his office, where they exchanged commemorative plaques for the university and the foundation.

It's worth mentioning that the medical day was part of the Pink October campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer, with participation from students in the nursing and applied medical sciences colleges. The event included a bazaar offering healthy food products, as well as clinics and labs for blood and vision tests and free medications. There were also sports and medical competitions for the students.
