About the Department

The Presidency Office Department was established in April 1993, and on 8/8/2005, the Deans' Council issued a decision to change the name to the "Administrative Affairs Department". The department is directly linked to the President of the University, and is considered the main link and artery feeding all colleges, units, departments and centers of the university. It undertakes all tasks assigned to it in accordance with the rules, regulations and instructions in force at the university.

The department is responsible for supplying internal and external mail in paper and computer form and presenting it to the University President and his deputies. Their explanations and decisions are then followed up with all relevant parties. The department also works to ensure that outgoing mail is sent to all internal and external parties. In addition, it archives all transactions in paper and electronic form and sends them to relevant parties via e-mail.

The department includes the following divisions:

1. Central Office Division.

2. Follow-up Division.​
