The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Al al-Bayt University plays a specialized academic role in advancing knowledge and applying it across the fields of physical education, movement sciences, and applied sport sciences. This role stems from our firm belief that sport is both a science and a practice, as well as a responsibility, and that preparing highly qualified specialists is fundamental to advancing individuals, society, and the sports sector.
The College is committed to providing rigorous academic education, producing high-quality and impactful scientific research, connecting knowledge with professional practice, and preparing graduates who possess scientific competence, practical skills, and the capacity for lifelong learning and innovation. In pursuing these objectives, the College is guided by the values of integrity, excellence, commitment, responsibility, and teamwork. The College comprises the Department of Physical Education and the Department of Movement Sciences and Applied Sport Sciences. The academic programs offered by these departments complement one another in building an integrated educational framework that combines scientific foundations with practical experience, while supporting research, innovation, and academic and sports partnerships in accordance with quality assurance and accreditation standards.
The College continues to strengthen its academic standing by enhancing its undergraduate and graduate programs, expanding the scope of its research and partnerships, and benefiting from scientific and technological advances in the field of sport sciences. Through these efforts, the College seeks to consolidate its position as an active, influential, and impactful academic institution.
