Administrative Accountability of Public School Principals in Jerusalem Governorate
The study aimed to identify the level of administrative accountability among the principals of public schools in the Jerusalem governorate, and the descriptive survey approach was used for its suitability for this type of studies. The questionnaire was adopted as a tool for the study, and the study sample consisted of 219 teachers working in public schools in the Jerusalem governorate, and a questionnaire was applied to them consisting of (25) items distributed over four areas, and its validity and stability were verified. A questionnaire consisting of (25) items distributed over four areas was applied to them, and its validity and stability were verified, and the study found that the level of administrative accountability among the principals of public schools in the Jerusalem governorate from the teachers' point of view was high.The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average level of administrative accountability among the principals of public schools in Palestine from the teachers' point of view due to the variable (gender, academic qualification, directorate) while statistically significant differences appeared in the variable of years of service.
