Language Center Annual Plan
1. Promoting studies at Al al-Bayt University through the official website of Al al-Bayt University by publishing the teaching programs that are taught in the Language Center in terms of the four levels and the importance of each level separately along with publishing a summary of the teaching material, and publishing pictures of the center and its classrooms.
2. Promoting content that contains everything related to the teaching material, teaching methodologies, listing the names of well-experienced faculty members, and presenting it to the embassies of foreign countries in Jordan through a committee assigned to go to these embassies to display this content.
3. Signing agreements with foreign educational institutions and universities by communicating electronically with these institutions and universities, and presenting the content the Language Center offers to foreign students in terms of financial discounts and services during their study period.
4. Social networking that can be fulfilled by posting paid advertisements for the services and courses offered by the Language Center to international students.
5. Reconsidering the current financial fees paid by international students for the enrollment at the Language Center, which are not affordable for many students, especially African students, who resort to other Jordanina universities whose fees are less than (750) IDs. This is one of the challenges the Language Center faced over the past years that resulted in the decrease in international students' number.
6. Reconsidering the current language center building, which lacks many things that should be available in the teaching and service process, as it has been around for decades without any significant modernization or change.
7. Reconsidering the furnishing of the international students dormitories, as many students complained about the dorm's old beds and mattresses, so a lot of the students bought their own mattresses from the local market and at their own expense.
8. Reconsidering the provision of extracurricular activities for the students inside the dormitories, as many students complained about having a lot of free time on campus doing nothing, especially in the evening; therefore, the doors of the gymnasium and the university swimming pool must be kept open for students in the evening, and this was a major reason why international students consider studying elsewhere.
9. Working to integrate international students studying at the Language Center with the university's community and the local community, by inviting them to celebrations and activities organized by the university's presidency and the various colleges and centers in the university during the academic year.
10. Promoting the center through alumni internationa students who have studied and graduated in the Language Center of AABU, as it has been noticed during the past years that some students who have studied at the Language Center and graduated in the university have assumed sovereign positions in their countries, as in Malaysia (formerly the Minister of Education, and currently the Minister of Awqaf). It has also been noticed that some of the students who come to study at the Language Center hold positions and jobs in official and private institutions in their countries, and some others are owners of private institutions, so they are considered vital promoters of the Language Center, only if they are offered by appropriate services and prices. In this regard, it is worth mentioning our successful experience with one of these distinguished students, almost ten years ago, who is Mr. Muhammad Nazmi, the owner of a major educational institution in Malaysia (The Ana Arabi Foundation) and an AABU alumnus of the Faculty of Sharia. A partnership agreement was signed with him, and he has been committed to it for ten years. This agreement attracts and encourages Malaysian students to study at the university every semester.
11. Providing financial advances to the Arabic Language Section for non-native speakers to cover the expenses of the extracurricular activities and programs organized by the center each semester.
12. Sending delegates abroad to present the content provided by the center and in an attempt to sign agreements with suitable prices and privileges for international students.
