About the department

The Human Resources Department is one of the important departments in the university, and it carries out the tasks of implementing the procedures related to the recruitment of the necessary competencies for the university's apparatus, including members of the faculty, administrative and technical staff, and employees with daily wages, and continuous coordination with the concerned authorities in the university in order to qualify and train new employees and follow up their affairs throughout their work period. at the university in accordance with the laws and regulations in force at the university.

 

The Human Resources Department was established with the establishment of the university in 1994 AD, and Deans Council Resolution No. 254/2018/2019 was issued on 3/6/2019, approving the change of its name from the Personnel Affairs Department to the Human Resources Department to keep pace with the development in the academic and administrative level at the university.

Since its establishment, the department has sought to take care of the administrative matters related to the university's faculty and administrative staff, starting with announcing vacancies for employees and completing the procedures related to their appointment, passing through the period of service at the university until its end. Through referral to the competent reference at the university to consider matters related to them, such as contract renewal, classification, promotion, transfer to higher degrees and categories, and any other matters of concern to employees,

This is by referring to the personnel system, the executive instructions issued according to it, and the job description approved by the university.​
