The E-Learning Center was established at Al al-Bayt University in the year 2020 at the beginning of the Corona pandemic, and the establishment of the center came in line with the philosophy of Al al-Bayt University of the need to keep pace with technological developments in the fields of information technology and computing and to provide the university with everything that contributes to strengthening the educational process and improving the tools for measuring the academic level of students. The E-Learning Center provides an integrated digital electronic environment that presents the courses via electronic networks, and provides ways of guidance and direction and the organization of exams.
The center aims to achieve the following goals:
1) Providing an appropriate electronic learning environment and providing assistance and training to the recipients of the service, whether they are students or teachers
2) Supervising and managing computerized exams.
3) Effective use of modern e-learning technologies in accordance with local and international standards.
4) Spreading the e-learning culture in line with quality standards as a contribution to building an information society.
5) Developing the students' e-learning skills.
6) Raising the efficiency of faculty members in e-learning.
7) Achieving quality and performance indicators in e-learning and distance education in accordance with international best practices.
The following specialized divisions belong to the center:
1. Computerized Exams Division: This division undertakes the task of managing computerized exams, including level exams, providing the necessary infrastructure and software to hold these exams in a safe and sound manner, providing the necessary training for teachers and students on the effective use of computerized exam programs and providing technical support to ensure that computerized exams are conducted according to the rules. .
2. Course Computing Division: A division specialized in managing the e-learning platform at the university, providing the necessary training for students and teachers on the effective use of this platform, in addition to following up on recording, storing and keeping backup copies of course files on the platform through the center's servers.
