Obstacles of Using Electronic Management in Teachers Performance Evaluation at Marka District Private Schools and the Suggested Solutions to Overcome them
The study aimed to identify the obstacles of using electronic management to evaluate the performance of teachers at private schools in Marka District and the proposed solutions to overcome them. The researchers used the descriptive analytical method. A questionnaire was developed to collect data. The study population consisted of all the (328) principals of the private schools in Marka District. The study sample consisted of (222) principals of those schools. The SPSS program was used to analyze the data. The results of study showed that there was a high level of obstacles to using the electronic management to evaluate teacher performance; and there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance of (??0.05) of obstacles to using electronic management to evaluate the teacher performance in private schools in Marka District attributed to the variable of experience and academic qualification; while there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance of (??0.05) of obstacles to using electronic management to evaluate the performance of teachers in private schools in Marka District attributed to the gender variable. The study also found that the most important solutions and proposals that help overcome the obstacles to using electronic management to evaluate teachers ?performance were developing policies to train and qualify school principals in the field of electronic management and creating an infrastructure that facilitates the process of evaluating teachers? performance electronically. In the light of the results, the researchers recommended the necessity of preparing clearly-targeted programs and plans for the process of using electronic management in all operations and activities within the educational institution That enables the Teachers Performance Evaluation; and that the procedures and burdens of the school director, which delay the process of using electronic management in the educational institution, should be alleviated.
