Obesity and its relationship with some variables among Sample of alblka applied University staff

The present study aimed to identify the level of obesity and its relationship with some variables (body mass, disease, smoking), among Sample of alblka applied University staff. . The study sample consisted of 592 emplyee, chosen at random, researchers have applied to the employee a series of questions related to physical activity and the practice of physical activity and its relation with body mass and disease and smoking. Researchers have used Fi Kramirez correlation coefficient compatibility between body mass indexes on the one hand and morbidity, physical activity and smoking on the other hand. The results indicate that there are statistically significant between obesity and the incidence of the disease and the lack of statistically significant between obesity and all of the physical activity and smoking. Researcher have recommended to the need for national campaigns, on the subject of obesity, shared by the media, food industry companies, universities, health centers and doctors. The prevalence rate of obesity in Jordan is more than many neighboring countries rate. This index rise for many of the diseases associated with lack of movement and an increase in the percentage of smokers, which is a heavy economic burden on the national economy and increased mortality.
