This study aimed to examine the effect of the program of staff development in the field of family counseling in improving the level of marital adjustment, and improving trends in parental socialization in families. The study population of all employees in the centers that child and family, and numbered (324) counselors. Respondents were selected from the pilot counselor who have undergone development program working in the field of family counseling, supervised by the National Council for Family Affairs and the number (146) counselors. Used measure of marital adjustment and a list of trends parental upbringing on a sample of the study. The results showed the presence of statistically significant differences in the level of marital adjustment and trends of parental upbringing, and for the benefit of the experimental group.
