The Effect of A Training Program in Rational Emotive Education on Improving Social Competence, Problem Solving Skills of Male Students At Seventh and Eighth Grades.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of a training program in rational emotive education on improving social competence, problem-solving skills of male students at seventh and eighth grades. The sample of the study was randomly assigned into 2 groups, the experimental group consisted of (25) students who received group guidance program in order to improving the social competence, problem solving skills. (ANCOVA) was used to find the effect of the treatment on the level of social competence, problem-solving skills. The results of the study showed significant differences between the experimental group which received group guidance program and the control group in all of the dependent variables. The results of the study show that group guidance program were effective in improving social competence and problem solving skills.
