Relationship of Perceived Self- Efficacy to Personalization and Adjustment Psychological among University Students
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Perceived Self- Efficacy and level of personalization and psychological Adjustment among university students. The sample of the study consisted of (211) undergraduate students, 150 females and 61 males, selected from the faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University in the first semester of the academic year 2008/2009. In order to achieve objectives of the study, the researcher used Self- Efficacy, Personalization and Psychological Adjustment scales. To address the questions of the study, means, standard deviations, T test, and multiple regression were used. The findings of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences between males and females on the Self- Efficacy scores in favor of females. The findings also revealed that there were statistically significant differences between less personalized and more personalized students on the Psychological Adjustment scale in favor of the less personalized students. The findings also revealed that there were statistically significant differences between less adjusted and highly adjusted students on the self-efficacy scores in favor of the highly adjusted ones.
