The Department of Humanities is one of the departments of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. This department was established in the second semester 2016/2017, to manage the university's humanities courses ( compulsory and elective) which includes courses related to the various faculties of university (Faculty of Shari'a, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law, Beit Al-Hikma Faculty of Political and International Studies and School of Business).
This department, as the case with the various university departments, seeks to achieve the university vision to be a center for scientific and cultural radiation, and an active element in building this country and forming comprehensive knowledge for the university student, and developing his/her scientific and cognitive skills.
The department includes ten instructors of different academic ranks. Its professors have published a number of research papers in local and international refereed scientific journals, and the department strives to develop and renew according to the latest different learning and teaching methods to enable undergraduate and graduate students have basic skills.
