The University Voice Radio is a community radio that emerged from a cooperation agreement between UNESCO, the European Union, and Al al-Bayt University, aimed at supporting media in Jordan. It serves as a link between the university and the local community, embodying the principle of partnership and realizing the university's vision for community development and upliftment. The radio station began its test broadcasting on January 25, 2018, on the frequency of 103.5 MHz. It launched its diverse program lineup on October 8, 2018, showcasing the unlimited talents and creativity of academics, students, and staff, spreading its fragrant essence throughout the Jordanian community, especially in the Mafraq Governorate, making it the first community radio in the governorate and the desert region.

The philosophy of the radio lies in maintaining authenticity while continuously updating and developing to keep pace with contemporary changes by instilling high values aesthetically, journalistically, nationally, Arab-wise, and humanely. This philosophy has created a broad base of listeners and followers in the region.

Volunteers from the faculty, students, and community listener club members participate in preparing and presenting radio programs. A special icon for online broadcasting (radio_streaming aabu fm) has been designated on the university’s official website www.aabu.edu.jo.
