Prevailing patterns of brain control and their relationship to skill performance among students of the athletics course in the Department of Physical Education at Al Al-Bayt University
This study aimed to identify the relationship between cerebral control and its relationship to skill performance in athletics events ،To achieve this, the researchers used the descriptive approach on a sample of students in the athletics course in the Department of Physical Education at Al Al-Bayt University, due to its suitability to the nature of the study،The study sample consisted of (45) male and female students enrolled in the athletics course، To collect data for the study, the researchers used the Brain Control Scale (Diane), translated by Al-Qaddoumi (2010), which consists of (21) questions،The results of the study indicated that the dominant brain control pattern among students is the integrative pattern, with a percentage of (66.7%) ،Followed by the left style (20.0%), and finally the right style (13.3%) ، The results of the study also indicate that there is a statistically significant relationship at the significance level (? ? 0.05) between the type of cerebral control and skill performance ،The researchers recommended the need to pay attention to selecting athletics players and developing their skills by linking them to mental abilities and integrated brain control and working to develop them during training programs.
