The Degree of Practice of Kindergarten Teachers in Tge State of Kuwait of Language ReadinessSkills
Abstract
The current study aimed at identifying the degree of practicing of kindergarten teachers in the State of Kuwait for the language readiness skills of children. The study sam-ple consisted of seven governemental kindergartens; belong to the capital educational area, seven teachers were also selected randomly from each kindergarten, who were teaching first and second level of kindergarten. To achieve the objectives of the study, a note card consisted of 57 items was prepared by the researchers to measure kindergarten teachers' practice of language readiness skills during the education situation, which was verified in terms of credibility and stability. The study finds that kindergarten teachers are practicing the language readiness skills with a medium degree. Moreover, there are statistically sig-nificant differences in the degree of practicing in favor of those with more than 10 years of teaching experience.
