The Psychological Security among Visually Impaired Students in light of some Variables
This study aimed to identify the level of the psychological security. It aimed also to explore the effect of level of visual impairment (low vision & blind), using technology, academic achievement, the interaction of level of visual impairment & using technology, and the interaction of level of visual impairment & academic achievement on students? feeling of security. The sample of the study consisted of (46) visually impaired students at the secondary school for blind. The following research hypotheses were tested: 1-No high level of feeling of security among visually impaired students at the secondary school for blind. 2-No significant difference in the feeling of security among visually impaired students that were attributed to level of visual impairment (low vision & blind), using technology, academic achievement, the interaction of level of visual impairment & using technology, and the interaction of level of visual impairment & academic achievement. The results revealed that students scored moderate degrees on the level of feeling of security as a whole. In addition, the results revealed that there were significant differences that were attributed to the interaction of level of visual impairment & using technology overall degree of the feeling of security. Finally, the results revealed that there were no significant differences due to level of visual impairment, using technology, academic achievement, and the interaction of level of visual impairment & academic achievement on the feeling of security. The researchers suggest that the use of technology can increase The Feeling of Security among Visually Impaired Students.
