The Department of Energy Engineering aims to meet the needs of the Jordanian community and the region by providing high quality programs in renewable energy engineering specially, in education, research and community services. So, the department seeks to prepare good engineering staff able to compete in solving society and industry problems. It also carries out developmental research to find solutions to the energy problem in Jordan and reduce the imported energy bill (such as gas and oil), where it will contribute to improving the quality of life and advance the economic and sustainable development
