Workshop for heads of departments in colleges
In coordination with the University's Center for Development and Quality, a workshop was held on Monday 10/29/2024 for heads of academic departments to introduce the College of Graduate Studies and the tasks assigned to it, in the presence of the Vice Dean and the staff of the College of Graduate Studies.
The Vice Dean welcomed the honorable attendees and the following topics were discussed during the workshop:
• The establishment of the college.
• The college's electronic page on the university's website.
• Instructions and general policies.
• Study plans.
• Computerized models.
• University calendar.
• Student admission procedures.
• Student issues.
• Graduation project for comprehensive track students.
• Supervision procedures starting from appointing the supervisor to discussing the thesis.
An extensive discussion and presentation of various case studies took place during the workshop, which lasted for two hours.
