Admission for Graduate Programs

The applicant should:

 

1.     Hold a bachelor's degree with a “good" rating (or equivalent) as a minimum from a recognized university.

2.   A student holding a bachelor's degree with a passing grade (or equivalent) and a master's degree with a grade of no less than (good) or equivalent may apply for admission to the doctoral program.

3.   A student who has obtained a bachelor’s degree with a grade of acceptable or its equivalent and a master’s degree with a grade of no less than (good) or its equivalent may apply to join the doctoral program.​

 4. a. Students who have a bachelor's degree by affiliation are allowed to apply for the master's programs in case they meet the following conditions:

·  Studying a qualifying program that the number of hours is not less than (30) accredited hours from the bachelor's level in the official universities only and on the parallel program according to its capacities.

·  The accredited courses in the qualifying program shall be related to the student's specialization and shall be from the pure specialization courses in a similar bachelor's program in the official university. Provided passing the qualifying program courses with a GPA not less than 70% or equivalent. The University should previously determine these courses.

​ b. A student who holds a bachelor's degree by affiliation with a grade of no less than (good) and had been accepted in a master's study and finished it with a grade of no less than (good) may apply to enrol in the doctoral program.

 c. Students who regularly hold an Intermediate Diploma and a bachelor's by affiliation are exempted from studying (50%) of the 30-hour qualifying program to enrol in a master's program in Jordanian universities and on the parallel program, provided that:

·         The intermediate diploma major matches with the bachelor's major.

·         That the concerned department in the official university determine the courses of the qualifying program (15) accredited hours for the student to study them on the parallel program, provided that he succeeds in all the courses and with a GPA not less than (70%).

d. A student who holds a bachelor's degree by affiliation and a high diploma regularly is exempted from studying the qualifying program (30) hours to enrol in a master's program in Jordanian universities, provided that:

​·  The Higher Diploma major matches with the bachelor's major.

· ​The hours of the higher diploma shall not be less than (30) accredited hours. If the hours of the higher diploma are less than (30) accredited hours, the student completes the number of hours specified by the department he wants to join to complete (30) hours.​
