Based on the clear vision of Al al-Bayt University to achieve academic excellence, develop education, and serve the local community to meet the needs of the labor market; and in line with the endeavor of Al al-Bayt University and the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education to achieve quality and academic accreditation, it was necessary to create an integrated system for training and promoting the skills of academic leaders and faculty, in accordance with local and international standard data and indicators of planning, administrating and teaching. that is for developing the skills and knowledge of new and old faculty members, improve their teaching, research, and personal competencies, and promote leadership and administrative skills to achieve a high level of quality and distinction and gain a distinguished position among Jordanian and Arab universities. Such programs aim to improve the quality of administrative and academic work and raise the intellectual, cultural, and professional level within the university. From this standpoint came the executive plan of the Department of Academic Development to achieve the university's goals and develop university education in a way that serves students and the elements of the educational process.
