The general objective of the department:
--implementing accreditation criteria for the various programs at the university, facilitating the work of the committees, following up deficiencies and all matters which related to accreditation, and assisting in meeting the requirements for obtaining accreditation certificates.
Main objectives:
Our department aims to:
- Obtain accreditation certificates for academic programs and ensure compliance with accreditation criteria.
- Manage and follow up the newly developed academic programs in the required specializations and ensure their compliance with local and international accreditation standards.
- Establish a database of academic information, programs, courses, and degree-granting requirements to complete and follow up the development system for serving faculty members, students, and the teaching process.
Sub-objectives
We also aim at:
- Participate in the local and international classifications at the university rank and the classification of academic programs
- Following up with the reality of academic programs with the Commission and apply the instructions issued by the Commission.
- Following up with the development of new academic programs at the university.
- Working for the general capacity of the university and following up with the special accreditation of specializations.
- Following up with the university competence exam which is held with the Accreditation Commission.
- Updating study plans with the university's faculties and institutes.
