Mohammad M. Hamed (Ph.D.)
| President & Professor at Isra University Professor at German Jordanian University | Mohammad M. Hamed is a US graduate with a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, Seattle, U.S.A. He is a former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (2013-2015). He has over 30 years of solid and professional experience. His professional career spans a wide range of expertise in Energy and Mineral Resources, Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas, LNG Infrastructure Facilities, Energy Efficiency, Energy Market Structure and Regulations, Electricity Market Structure and Fare Setting, Transportation Planning and Infrastructure, Organizational Change, Institutional Strengthening, Trade and Transport Facilitation and Logistics, and Regulation and the Creation of Regulatory entities. Currently, he is the President of Isra University and a professor of civil and environmental engineering at German Jordanian University (GJU). He published over 60 specialized scientific papers in distinguished journals in renewable energy, energy demand forecasting, water demand management and forecasting, transportation safety, transportation policy and planning, and travel demand forecasting.
