In this paper, we generate the wrapped Akash distribution which offers
a more
fexible model for analyzing some types of circular data set. Some
properties of the wrapped Akash distribution are studied such as means,
skewness, and kurtosis. We investigate the invariance properties of wrapped
Akash distribution, invariance under change of initial direction, and the
reference system orientation. The maximum likelihood methods is studied
and some simulation studies are conducted to investigate the performance of
the maximum likelihood estimator. A real life data set is used to test the
goodness of fit of wrapped Akash distribution and examine its performance in
comparison with some other distributions.
