Dean of the Faculty of Law and the faculty family meet with new students.
The Faculty of Law organized a meeting for its new students with the aim of preparing them and providing them with the necessary legal knowledge about their academic and professional careers, integrating them into the college environment, and introducing them to the importance of their future role, which contributes to achieving the goal of producing qualified graduates. This took place in the Prince Hassan bin Talal Amphitheater at the university.
Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Samer Dalal'a, who sponsored the meeting in the presence of the college family, began by welcoming the new students, stressing the importance of adhering to the university's principles because they represent the Faculty of Law, pointing to the importance of adhering to the regulations and laws and the instructions of the college and the university, praising the need for positive behavior of college students, and actively participating in the activities held by the university and the college and engaging in university life. He also explained the professional and academic framework for students and the need for excellence during university life.
The Vice Dean, Professor Dr. Nabil Shatnawi, explained that the specialization of law is valuable and makes the student who studies it of moral and personal value, so that the student avoids cheating, attempting to do so, participating in it, or disrupting the lecture system, because of the disciplinary impact on his academic career in accordance with the student discipline system.
The Head of the Department of Public Law, Professor Dr. Mwaffaq Al-Mahamid, also pointed out the importance of adhering to proper academic conduct, whether during lectures or in connection with term papers or examinations, explaining the importance of university life and highlighting the importance of individual and collective behavior that the student possesses towards himself, his university, and his colleagues.
The Head of the Department of Private Law at the college, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khaldi, reviewed the programs and specializations offered by the college, adding the instructions and regulations that concern the student and the need to be guided by the study plan and explaining the role of the college in guiding students and urging them to consult their advisors in order to avoid any obstacles that may hinder their academic career.
Assistant Dean Dr. Habes Al-Shawabkeh explained what extracurricular activities are and the need to participate in them. He also explained the university and national competitions in the field of law and the judiciary, reviewing the tasks undertaken by law students in the course of practical life.
The registrar in Admissions and Registration, Fida Noufal, clarified some answers related to students' questions and inquiries about the sequence in the process of registering courses so that it is balanced between public law and private law until all the required requirements are completed.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Law answered all the inquiries and questions raised by the students in the presence of faculty members, the Registrar of the Faculty of Law, Fida Noufal, and a number of interested parties.
