College of Business at the University holds a reception for its new students
The Dean of the College of Business, Professor Turki Al-Fawaz, sponsored the reception ceremony for new students organized by the college family in the presence of faculty members. It aimed to introduce the new students to university life within the College of Business, strengthen bonds of integration among students, and provide them with the necessary support at the beginning of their academic journey. The event took place in the Al-Bakhit Auditorium at the university.
During his welcoming speech to the students, Dr. Al-Fawaz emphasized that this scientific edifice combines science and ethics, knowledge and responsibility, excellence and leadership, stressing that they are an integral part of the university that carries the highest missions and prepares future generations equipped with science, knowledge, and values. He added that the university stage is a journey of self-discovery and shaping the future, building professional and human identity, and learning to think, pointing out that success does not come by chance, but through persistence, discipline, and the pursuit of opportunities, and that what distinguishes a graduate of the College of Business is their adherence to the values of integrity and responsibility.
The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Nancy Al-Shamaila, provided advice and guidance to the students to participate in the various university activities, and emphasized the need for academic excellence and avoiding penalties.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Dean for Community Affairs and Training, Ms. Basma Abu Dhaib, gave a presentation on community initiatives and the need for students to register for community service and volunteer activities as a university requirement.
The ceremony, presented and managed by Sufian Hraiz, included a short introductory video about the college, distribution of gifts, and a distinguished graduate segment presented by graduate Anas Huleil, reviewing his personal experience in digital marketing, showing the impact of benefiting from the skills he acquired during his studies at the college. Dean Al-Fawaz and his assistants also answered students' questions and inquiries, and the sponsors of the ceremony, Maestro Application and Al-Samman Food Industries, were honored. The ceremony concluded with the Dean and faculty members of the college joining the new students in raising the Jordanian flags to the sounds of national songs and anthems that celebrated the leader and the country.
