Students from the Faculty of Political Science at Al al-Bayt University participated in the official opening ceremony of the second ordinary session of the National Assembly, which was held in the Jordanian House of Representatives, under royal patronage and the presence of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.
The ceremony, to which the students were invited, included attending the delivery of the Speech from the Throne, which outlined the features of the upcoming national stage, stressing the constants of the Jordanian state, and its vision in the paths of reform, modernization, and strengthening the national construction process.
During their attendance, the students also witnessed the endorsement of His Excellency Mazen Al-Qadi as Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, along with the election of his deputies and assistants, in a democratic atmosphere that expresses the vitality of Jordanian parliamentary life and its commitment to the established constitutional approach.
This participation comes within the framework of the practical training program for students of the Faculty of Political Science at Al al-Bayt University, organized by the Training Department of the National Assembly, which aims to enhance parliamentary and political awareness among students, and enable them to closely examine the mechanisms of parliamentary and legislative work in Jordan.
