The Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Al al-Bayt University, along with department heads and academic staff, met to welcome the new students of the faculty and discuss topics of interest to them.

The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, affirmed that the faculty is keen to provide students with the linguistic and cultural knowledge that enables them to understand and accept others, while preserving their cultural and linguistic identity. He stressed the need to take advantage of the various educational means available in the college, which enriches the linguistic and cultural knowledge of students. He also called on students to refer to the relevant departments in the college if they encounter any difficulties in their university career.

During the meeting, which was moderated by Mr. Khaled Nadim Al-Khalidi, an extensive dialogue took place between the students and the heads of departments in the college. The Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, Dr. Bara'a Ababneh, the Head of the Department of French Language, Dr. Hiyam Al-Badarin, the Head of the Department of Spanish Language, Dr. Rasha Al-Oraied, and the Head of the Department of Italian Language, Dr. Saber Abdel-Muttaleb, answered the questions and inquiries of the college students. The heads of departments stressed the need to adhere to the guiding study plan, comply with the university's regulations and instructions, participate in extracurricular activities and local and international competitions, and invest in scholarships offered by international universities to the college's students as an opportunity to learn foreign languages from native speakers.​
