The Faculty of Sharia team wins the debate championship at Al al-Bayt University level.
Organized by the Department of Political Education, Educational and Social Guidance in the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Dialogue and Debate Club at the university held the Dialogue and Debate Championship at the level of Al al-Bayt University, in the presence of the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hayel Al-Sarhan.
Nine colleges from Al al-Bayt University participated in the championship, which lasted three days and discussed a number of vital topics of interest to students. The teams from the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Sharia reached the final level.
The two teams discussed the topic of "Handing over decision-making centers to artificial intelligence is better than keeping them in the hands of humans" between a pro team and an opposing team. After listening to the arbitration committee consisting of the head of the Student Organizations and Political Education Division, Muhammad Shawaqfeh, the head of the Dialogue and Debate Club, student Qusai Alimat, and the vice president of the club, student Lama Smara, the Faculty of Sharia team won first place in the debates.
The Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hayel Al-Sarhan, presented honorary awards to the winning students in the presence of the Director of the Department of Political Education, Educational and Social Guidance, Abdel Halim Abu Dalbouh, and a number of students and interested parties.
