Students of the Faculty of Business - "Tourism and Hotel Management" course at Al al-Bayt University, under the supervision of Dr. Nancy Al-Shamayleh, organized a field visit to the Ajloun Forest Reserve, as part of a volunteer initiative aimed at promoting the concepts of environmental tourism and social responsibility among students.

The visit included the implementation of a cleaning campaign for the area, in addition to an introductory tour inside the building of the Royal Academy for Nature Conservation, which is an institution concerned with training and capacity building in the fields of nature protection and management of economic and social development programs and related services, including environmental tourism.

During the visit, the students also documented and photographed the landmarks of the reserve, in preparation for launching a promotional campaign aimed at highlighting the beauty of the region and its tourism importance, in practical application of what was learned within the course's syllabus.

For her part, Dr. Al-Shamayleh stressed the importance of these initiatives in promoting domestic tourism and expanding students' horizons on the personal and cultural levels, pointing out that volunteer tourism represents an integrated model that combines volunteer work and getting to know the most prominent tourist attractions in our dear country.
