End of the training course for the "Sustainable Solutions for Social Cohesion" project
The training course organized by Al-Hayat Center - Rased in cooperation with the Center for Sustainable Development and Women's Empowerment, and funded by the Norwegian Embassy, within the project “Sustainable Solutions for Social Cohesion,” which was inaugurated earlier by the Prime Minister, Dr. Jaafar Hassan, has concluded.
The training course was held from 2/11/2025 to 2/27/2025, with the participation of 27 women owners of small and medium enterprises from the local community.
The project aims to enhance social cohesion by implementing sustainable solutions in various social and economic fields, reflecting the government's commitment to supporting local communities and achieving sustainable development.
The course also focused on a range of important topics, such as:
• Sustainable development
• Social cohesion
• Legislation regulating the work of small projects
• Mobilization, packaging and marketing
• Financial management of projects
• Social media platform strategies
These topics were presented by experts and specialists in the field.
The course witnessed great interaction from the participants, as they discussed ways to implement sustainable solutions and enhance social cohesion in light of current challenges. Experiences were also exchanged between the participants, which contributed to the development of new strategies that support building cohesive societies based on cooperation and mutual respect.
At the conclusion of the course, Dr. Hatem Al-Masaeed, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development and Women's Empowerment, stressed that these projects represent an important step towards strengthening community unity and sustainable work, and openness to the local community, to empower women economically and in various fields.
