The College of Foreign Languages visits Al-Mafraq Secondary School for Girls.

A group of outstanding female students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages visited the Mafraq Secondary School for Girls, which is the oldest secondary school in the Mafraq Governorate. The students introduced the college and its four departments: English, French, Italian, and Spanish. The students presented informative presentations about the different departments and the study of foreign languages, allowing each department to organize activities related to the languages and enabling the schoolgirls to participate in these activities as part of the event. The English department showcased their participation in the English Olympiad and conducted short competitions in the language, while the Italian department talked about Italian Day and a translation competition won by one of their students. The Spanish department discussed Spanish culture and Spanish Language Day, with the Spanish teacher Maria Isabel presenting several Spanish customs. The French department spoke about the specialization in French and English language and taught the students a number of basic French words. Accompanying the university students were Dr. Rasha Al-Areed, head of the Spanish department, Dr. Lamia Amoush from the English department, and teacher Maria Isabel from the Spanish department. The school's director, the esteemed educationalist Sahar Hawamdeh, appreciated this visit to the school, and the schoolgirls enjoyed the various presentations, learning about different aspects of Spanish, Italian, French, and English cultures.​
