Al al-Bayt University signs a cooperation memorandum with the Irhab Municipality.
Al al-Bayt University, represented by its President, Professor Osama Nusair, signed a memorandum of understanding and joint cooperation with the municipality of Arhab, represented by Mr. Akram Haran Al-Harashah, to provide a model for cooperation that benefits institutions and community members. Under this memorandum, the university will contribute to urban planning and development, promote innovation and technological advancement, build capacity and develop human resources, enhance economic development, manage risks and crises, promote environmental sustainability, and train municipal staff. During the signing ceremony, President Nusair emphasized that the university has been striving since its establishment to cooperate in serving communities to achieve sustainable development and that it fulfills its national duty towards these communities by extending communication and cooperation with various segments and institutions of the local community. Al-Harashah also expressed pride in the governorate for this academic institution, which the Hashimites wanted to excel and connect with civil society institutions, serving communities while also highlighting the key features of the Arhab area and its archaeological treasures, commending the university as a developmental component that is keen on enhancing cooperation with communities. Present at the signing of the memorandum were the university's Vice President for Community Affairs, Professor Hani Akhu Arshida, the media spokesperson for the Arhab municipality, Baraa Aleimat, and the Director of Public Relations and Media, Nasser Al-Shabeel.
