As part of the plan of the Sports Activity Department/ Deanship of Student Affairs for the first semester, and in preparation for the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation Championship, the department translated its plan into holding an internal basketball (3×3) championship for both males and females, with wide participation from students over two days. A total of 7 teams from male students and 6 teams from female students participated in the championship. 

The Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hael Sarhan, crowned the winning teams in the top three positions, as follows:

Female Championship:

• First place: "Royal" team

• Second place: "Promise" team

• Third place: "Girls" team

Male Championship:

• First place: "Falcons" team

• Second place: "Economics" team

• Third place: "Victory" team

The ceremony to crown the teams was attended by the Director of Sports Activities, Mr. Nasser Al-Khawaldeh, Head of the Training Department, Jumana Qatishat, and department staff. Captain Mohamed Al-Wadiyan oversaw the organization of the championship. 

Last week, a friendly match was held between the Al-Bayt University team and the Philadelphia University team in handball and basketball. 

On another note, the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation Championship in handball kicked off today, Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Al-Bayt University's first match will be against Amman Arab University next Thursday, November 21, 2024, in Princess Sumaya Hall.
